Zeiss Primostar 3 Phase Contrast Microscope

The Zeiss Primostar 3 phase-contrast microscope enables high-contrast imaging of transparent, unstained specimens, such as living cells, thanks to the Ph2 objective. The 5x revolving nosepiece is also equipped with three additional iPlan achromatic objectives (4x, 10x and 40x), which allow it to be used as a normal transmitted light microscope. The full Köhler illumination can be individually adjusted and enables optimal illumination of the specimen.

In addition, the microscope has an energy-saving ECO mode that switches the microscope to sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. The Primostar 3 phase contrast microscope is available with either a normal Abbe condenser and phase shifter or with a phase contrast turret condenser.
