Ringer's Solution

Besides NaCl, Ringer's solution is the most frequently used infusion solution. It is not only used for therapy in dehydration or renal insufficiency, but also as a carrier solution for intravenous drug administration. Ringer's solution can be used as an irrigation solution during surgery.
