Mayo-Hegar Needle Holders – Peha® single-use instrument

These Mayo-Hegar needle holders are a Peha® single-use instrument and are made of brushed steel. The needle holders are individually sterile packed and have a sterile shelf life of 5 years. This means that the needle holders provide an economical medical supply and are ideal for infrequent use. Mayo-Hegar needle holders have a straight shape and are available in either 12 cm or 14 cm lengths.

Use:

Mayo-Hegar needle holders are slender forceps with a locking mechanism, which simplify the application of surgical sutures. The needle holders are used to grip a needle and to guide the suture. It is also possible to knot the suture using the needle holders.
