The Different Test Modes
In standard test mode, the cassette is inserted into the unit immediately after application of the sample. The analyser then counts down the reaction time, analyses the cassette and displays the results.
If the instant test mode is selected, a separate timer must be used. The cassette is loaded with the sample, the timer is activated and only after the time has elapsed is the cassette inserted into the unit and analysed.
Test Procedure
Insert the ID code chip of the respective cassette and select "Read ID Card". Enter the patient data. Prepare the sample according to the respective test cassette instructions for use and place the sample in the test cassette.
If the standard test mode is selected, insert the test cassette into the cassette holder. If the instant test mode is selected, start a timer and insert the cassette only after the time has elapsed.
After each test, the result is displayed on the screen and automatically printed with the internal thermal printer. The system also saves the results in the analyser's built-in memory. These can be called up, exported or printed at any time.
