Infusion Set for Horses

This special infusion set is used for intravenous liquid application in horses. The latex-free and sterile infusion set is equipped with a five metre long tube, two spikes and a burette with a volume of 100ml. Thanks to the large tubes, the infusion solution can be withdrawn and administered quickly and easily.

The particularly long tube gives the horse room even during infusions. It is best if you lead it through a ring on the halter below the ears to the venous catheter in the V. jugularis. At the halter, the tube should be secured with adhesive tape, while leaving some room to allow the horse to move its head.
