Helix Test
This Helix test by EURONDA is used to test the fractioned pre-vacuum of class B autoclaves so that proper sterilisation can subsequently take place.. The Helix test is a moisture penetration test in accordance with EN 867-5, and consists of a test body and 250 indicator strips.

For easy documentation, the indicator strips have a self-adhesive back and can be glued into the documentation book of the autoclave after the test has been completed.

Intended Use
The steam penetration test is used to test the steam penetration performance of an autoclave. The test specimen with plastic tube and indicator sleeve is very difficult to penetrate due to its special nature and simulates loads of the classification hollow body A (according to EN standard 13060). Please only use the test with class B autoclaves. If used with other sterilisers or other indicator strips, incorrect results may be displayed.

Note: The set consists of a test body and 250 indicator strips. The test body needs to be replaced when all 250 indicators have been used. Continued use may cause incorrect results to be displayed.
