Flexible Plastic Probe

The flexible plastic probe is used to administer medication, liquids, to drain gas accumulations and for irrigation in case of blockages of the throat of horses and cattle. Due to the transparent material, the probe is also suitable for diagnosing a colic or a reflux and an overloading of the stomach.

The funnel-shaped end piece of the probe allows the liquids to be directly administered to the stomach. Another advantage lies in the way medication is administered: if a drug is administered with help of a bottle, a large percentage is often lost and the drug cannot be dosed precisely. With the probe, however, excess medication can be saved during treatment.

The flexible probe made from transparent plastic is available in various lengths and diameters, which makes it suitable for calves, foals as well as adult animals.
