BD Gravity Infusion Set with Anti-Run Dry Technology

The BD Gravity Infusion Set with Anti-Run Dry technology features a hydrophilic filter membrane that minimises the risk of air entrapment in the tube. In addition, the hydrophilic membrane ensures a constant fluid level after infusion, preventing backflow of blood from the catheter. Easy filling of the tube, with only one hand and without fluid leakage, is made possible by the AutoPrime cap.

You can get the gravity infusion set optionally with an additional SmartSite system or with a Check Valve. The SmartSite system contains a closed system with a needle-free Y-port, which reduces the risk of bacterial contamination and needlestick injury. The model with non-return valve has a non-return valve on the tubing which prevents backflow of fluid.
