AEG Full-ISO ARE H9 Handheld Reader

The ARE H9 full ISO handheld reader from AEG for animal identification can be used for reading most common transponders. Up to 2016 readings can be stored in the internal database and transferred to a computer via USB interface.

When a reading has been successfully accomplished, the reader checks its internal database to see if the transponder code is already stored. If it cannot be found in the database, it is saved as a new entry. If the ID was already in the database, it will not be saved again. In this case, the reader emits two successive beeps.

The database can not only be transferred completely to a PC, but a database prepared on the PC can also be transferred to the handheld reader. Using PC software, attributes such as "stable", "pasture" or "vaccination" can also be selcted and set and assigned to a transponder when it is read.
